  THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TAKE ACTION ON ANY ITEM THAT IS LISTED ON THIS AGENDA

  The School Board welcomes and values hearing from members of the community on school and educational matters. Each regular meeting includes a public comment period to provide residents, parents/guardians, students, and district employees an opportunity to share their perspectives in a respectful and orderly way. To help ensure a positive and productive experience for everyone, speakers are asked to observe basic standards of courtesy and decorum.

  Individual comments are limited to three minutes, with the overall public comment period generally lasting no more than 30 minutes, unless adjusted by the Board. Speakers are asked to begin by stating their name, town of residence, and school affiliation (or place of employment, if applicable). While the Board does not engage in dialogue during public comment, the Board Chair may ask the Superintendent to follow up on concerns and report back as appropriate. To protect privacy, comments about individual students or personnel matters should be shared directly with the Superintendent outside of the meeting.
