Hiring Opening: Town Administrator – Part Time

Town Administrator – Part Time

The Town of Frenchboro is seeking to hire a qualified person to serve as chief administrative officer in a part time position. A qualified individual should have demonstrated municipal management experience in town management/ town administration.  Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communications, superior supervisory and interpersonal ability, as well as strong planning and organizational skills. Knowledge/ experience in areas of budget/finance, grant writing, federal and state regulatory systems and policy management are desired.  Strong background and awareness of commonly used technology such as Skype, Go To My PC, QuickBooks, Excel Spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Office is desired.

The Town Administrator will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations; budget and annual reporting preparation; financial and administrative reports; oversight of record management, coordination with town boards and committees and other duties as may be required by the board of selectmen. Expected time commitment is 11 hours a week, 11 months of the year. Salary is $12,000.00.
